Many people have joined sports from tender age while others have come to perfect it as they progress in life. Sometimes you may come across an athlete and you wonder how they become famous and talented. This is seen mostly in the popular vitor shaolin ribeiro who has been in the field for some time. Being born in Brazil in the city of Rio de Janeiro in February 24 of 1979, he got a chance to become one of the recognized Jiu Jistu which is considered to be a sport that came from Japan.

At the age of 14 years, he decided to join the known Jiu Jistu sport but this was prompted by a fight with some kid from his school. After this embarrassing situation, he was transferred to another school called Nova Uniao. This is how he was able to know the path he was going to take for his future career.

Although he was in a young age of 17 years, he was energetic and this offered him a chance to acquire school trophy in the championship category of Jiu Jistu. When it came to the other category preserved to the older people, he took second position and this was a very big deal to him and his peers. At 18 years he also achieved a lot because he was able to break a past record in Black Belt division. From here, he proceeded to the famous Brazil nationals.

For his determination, he continued to show his improvements in wining major trophies for 3 continuous years. This motivated him to do more in his career life for he understood the meaning of proving he is the best in different categories. His main goal was to be among the best in MMA and he ended up there.

During his MMA career, he work and trained with professionals like the famous Darryl Gholar who was known to be a successful American wrestler. With this engagement, it proved to him and other people that he was the perfect person in this sport. He also offers his support to other fighters by training them on different techniques and this shows that he is ready to nurture upcoming sport men.

With the athlete making a difference in the sport world, he also has his own achievements. For example, he took silver medalist in world event in the 1998 and also the 2x Brazilian National Champion. Although in 2003 he did not win, he managed to take 3rd place which is a big achievement in ADCC. For the any athlete to boast of these achievements one will need to make some crucial decisions.

Many athletes have their unique techniques which assist them to be the finest. When it comes to this particular one, he is known to apply arm triangle for he knows it benefits. This is not the only technique his is familiar with because he also uses half guard ones. By doing this, he is in a better place to win the fights.

In this sport, there are different weight divisions and each person has a chance to choose one that they are comfortable with. For him he has been in the middleweight, the lightweight, and the featherweight. The athlete is known to prefer the featherweight because he knows he is perfect in this.
