Little Witch Academia 2 [Off-Topic]

Hey guys, I know the blogspot is for anime icons but I hope you don't mind me talking about this.

Studio Trigger has put up a Kickstarter for Little Witch Academia 2. While they already have the funds for the first 20 minutes of animation, they're asking for backers to help increase the length of the production by 15 minutes (and possibly even further with stretch goals).

Thankfully, with the collective power of the Internet and goodwill of people around the globe, the goal of $150, 000 was reached in under four hours. Despite that being the case, I would simply like to bring this to the attention of blog users in case you have somehow missed it on either /a/, major forums or anime news sites. If you liked the original Little Witch Academia OVA, consider donating! Even a single dollar can go a long way, and it's nice to help support the industry we all love and care for.

If you haven't watched LWA, you can check it out online on Studio Trigger's Youtube channel.

If you didn't enjoy it or don't care for donating, that's okay too! Once again, I apologize for posting this here and will get back to your regularly scheduled autism in due time.

Oh, and to the folks that somehow believe the IRC crew propaganda on /a/, I'd like to clear things up. I haven't even been on /a/ (due to exams and work) as much as usual, nor have I ever spoken to most of the people on that list. I'm not sure why whoever is posting it has labeled me as the leader of their shenanigan squad but I'd just like to make sure you guys are aware that I have nothing to do with it. Blogging and all that, >>>/out/, etc. but that's something I wanted to mention since I've noticed some people wondering about that and messaging me.
